In addition to the Student Housing Concept, Basecamp also opened its doors to hotel guests and welcomes in Dortmund tourists, business travelers and young professionals, who stay a little longer.
On an area of 20.500m2, 118 hotel rooms, 331 student rooms with communal kitchens and areas have been created. Some of the hotel rooms are equipped with kitchenettes for a medium stay option.
A 500m2 restaurant has been created on the roof top floor named Baseology and combines the original industrial attributes of Dortmund’s past with a young, smart look that is bold, colorful and diversity at the same time.
” Long stay rooms utilise colourful fixtures and bright timber to bring a youthful exuberance to the space. In addition, the short stay hotel rooms use quality materials and custom designed furniture to create a sense of comfort for the guests.”
